Three months ago, a series of deaths in a suburban apartment shocked the nation. Qi Lin, the sole survivor, was identified as the culprit and confined to a psychiatric hospital. In pursuit of the truth, a documentary intern begins interviewing the survivors and witnesses connected to the case. Yet as the memories of five nights are pieced back together, he discovers that every testimony contradicts the others: a missing roommate, a recurring wooden carving, a person no one admits exists, and a past that keeps being rewritten. The boundary between reality and hallucination gradually begins to collapse, while anxiety, jealousy, and an overlooked loneliness quietly grow within intimate relationships. When truth can exist only through other people’s accounts, who is lying, and who is the real victim?
